Mobile Payment

Secure, contactless payment in the palm of your hand!

Apple Pay

Enjoy the convenience and security of Apple Pay® mobile payments solution with your First Independent Bank debit card. You can use your iPhone® 6 and newer to pay for purchases at more than 220,000 participating stores.
Apple Pay is safer than using a traditional credit or debit card because every transaction on your iPhone® or iPad® requires you to authenticate with Touch ID® or your passcode, and your Apple Watch® passcode is required every time you put it on. Your card number and identity are not shared with the merchant, and your actual card numbers are not stored on your device or on Apple servers.
To get started, tap the + sign in Wallet. Take a picture of your card (preferred method) or enter the information manually. You may be prompted to receive a text verification or to call us for verification. Make your First Independent Bank debit card your default card by holding your finger on it and bringing it to the front.

Look for these symbols below at checkout to find participating merchants.
On iPhone and iPad, you can use Apple Pay to pay within apps when you see the Buy with Apple Pay button or Apple Pay as a payment method.
On iPhone and Apple Watch, you can use Apple Pay in stores that accept contactless payments. Look for one of these symbols at checkout:

Samsung Pay

Samsung Pay, available on select Samsung devices, allows you to pay almost anywhere using just your phone. Simply access your card by swiping up, then authenticate with your thumbprint and hover to pay.
Set up is a breeze, too. Find the pre-installed app on your phone or download off Google Play. Sign in to your Samsung account, scan your fingerprint and enter a PIN to authenticate future purchases. Add your cards by snapping pictures of them.
For your security, Samsung Pay doesn't store or share your payment information. Rather a randomized set of numbers is used for each transaction, in place of your real card number. And, every transaction is authenticated by your fingerprint or PIN number.
Visit the official page of Samsung Pay for more information, and be sure to Contact Us if you need help adding your First Independent Bank debit card.

Google Pay

Google Pay™ is the fast, simple way to pay with Google. It brings together everything you need at checkout and keeps your payment info safe in your Google Account until you’re ready to pay.
Google Pay works anywhere you see one of these symbols below at checkout. Just unlock your phone and hold it near the terminal. You don’t even need to open the app. You can also use Google Pay to pay on the web and in apps.

You may be wondering if this is secure. When you use your phone to pay in stores, Google Pay doesn’t send your actual debit card number with your payment. Instead, a virtual account number is used to represent your account information – so your card details stay safe.
Ready to get started? Adding your First Independent Bank debit card to Google Pay takes just a few minutes. First, download the app from Google Play or check to see if it’s already installed on your phone. Then, open the app and follow the instructions.
